Estate Rules
Residents are required to agree to submit to the Estate Rules when buying a property in Dainfern Valley Estate which not only help to guarantee the exceptional lifestyle all residents enjoy, but also to maintain and enhance the property values of all homeowners. A copy of the Estate Rules can be obtained from Linda at the Estate Office. Please contact Linda on (011) 469-0812 for a copy.
Levies
Levies are payable monthly in advance and are payable by cash, cheque and / or direct transfer.
Security
Security is of the utmost importance to the Dainfern Valley Homeowners Association and requires co-operation from all residents to ensure the security rules and regulations are effective.
Speed limit on the Estate
The speed limit on the Estate is 35km/h. Residents, contractors and visitors are requested to adhere to this speed limit at all times.
Use of the Streets
Normal road legislation, regulations and ordinances shall apply on the estate.
In additional, the following shall apply:
- The maximum speed limit is 35 km/h
- No unlicensed motor vehicles, including without limitation thereto, motorised skateboards, will be allowed on the Estate, on the Estate roads, sidewalks and / or paths.
- No unlicensed drivers will be allowed access / usage of Estate roads.
- The driver of any vehicle (including without limitation thereto a golf cart) that acts in a reckless, inconsiderate or irresponsible manner will be subject to the imposition of a penalty or fine as determined by the DVHA from time to time.
- In addition to any internal sanction, the DVHA will ensure that all legal remedies available against transgressors of these Rules are implemented including, but not limited to, the institution of criminal proceedings.
- The definitions of the words “motor cycle”, “motor tricycle”, “motor quadrucycle” as set out in the Road Traffic Act Number 29 of 1989 are hereby incorporated into these Rules and shall be included whenever the word “vehicle” is used herein.
The fine and penalty schedules have been updated and will be circulated to all homeowners
in due course.

The Association is hereby established as a voluntary association with effect from the date of proclamation of the township Dainfern Extension 16, upon and subject to the provisions of the constitution, and as an entity separated and distinct from its members, with the capacity to acquire rights or incur obligations in its own name and to own property separately and independently of its members.
The DVHA is governed by Articles of Association and Estate Rules.
